Valenciennes reached the last 32 of the Coupe de France with a 2-0 win away to Le Mans this evening.
Nicolas Mirin put the Ligue 1 side ahead against their second-tier hosts on the stroke of half-time.
The tie was made safe when substitute Vincent Aboubakar scored in the 73rd minute, five minutes after coming on.
