6 Foot Length

I can not say for sure why 8 foot was taken as the format size, I guess it is like the VHS and Beta debate, although Beta was a more reliable and better format, the marketing of VHS was better. Therefore we can only conclude that the tournament organisers use their defined tables and have chosen this size as the one to produce and sell to us.
The official tournament size as defined by the team at BPONG is 8ft x 2 ft x 27.5 inches high. Now the height in my opinion does not really make a difference.
8 Foot length 4 Foot wide.
Now this size to some is known as the king size, offers the same tournament length just a little more width. Not a serious issue really, and if you want to use your table for setting down food and other items the extra two foot can be helpful.
9 Foot length.
One of the pioneers of Beer Pong established the original 9 foot table. Although not the most popular it is one for consideration.
